Healthy Conversation Skills Workshop

Healthy Conversation Skills training supports you in your role as an agent of change – helping you to be more effective to have empowering conversations with  patients, clients and whānau to make lasting lifestyle behaviour changes to improve their long term health and wellbeing.

There is no cost for practitioners residing in New Zealand to attend Healthy Conversation Skills training as it is funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Health.

A minimum of 10 registered participants are required for all workshops. We will advise you in advance if we do not have the required number and will reschedule the dates.

Community of Practice

The HCS Community of Practice is a quarterly meeting via Zoom created for you to join and meet others who would like to hone their skills to confidently practice conversations facilitating behaviour change.  You must have completed Healthy Conversation Skills in order to take part in the sessions.

You can register for any number of the sessions.
